6 Principles of Success that will Increase Your Leadership

Success is based on principles in every business
Ever wonder why some people seem to succeed at everything they do while others seem fail no matter how hard they try. It seems like everything you try is an uphill battle. You look at these so-called successful people and they don’t look any differently than you. They put their pant legs on one leg at a time. They walk the same – one foot in front of the other. They’re no more intelligent than you. In some cases, they’re aren’t as intelligent. Yet these people are successful and enjoying life while the rest of us trudge along trying to find the next best thing or stay at jobs we dread going to.

Principles of Success
The key to these successful people’s lives are the six principles of success; however, I will mention only three today:
Principle #1:  Purpose – Purpose is your original intent for your creation. It’s the reason you were put on this earth. Once you find your purpose, you need to walk in your purpose. You need to educate and train yourself so you can do what you were created to do. For example, if you were put on this earth to be a lawyer, you do everything necessary to become a lawyer.

Following the principles of success

Where does your purpose come from? It comes from a vision or glimpse of your destiny. Purpose is what separates you from everyone else. And without purpose, you cannot have success.

Principle #2: Passion – Passion can be best described as a “desire stronger than death.” Passion is created by a purposeful and meaningful life. When you have a purpose, nothing can stop you. You will face obstacles and you may be delayed but ultimately you will be successful. When you’re passionate, you don’t take no for an answer. Not even death can stop your urge for success. You know when you haven’t found your passion if you can stop what you’re doing right now and be happy.
Principle #3: Planning – I’m sure you’ve heard the old cliche, most people don’t plan to fail, they fail to plan. Planning is most people’s weakness next to organization. If you don’t have a plan, you will surely fail. In Proverbs 16:1-2, 9, bible says that God will direct your steps if you have a plan. If you don’t have a plan, God has nothing to direct.
Principles of Success 4-6
I will discuss the last three principles of success tomorrow. The last three principles of success will be:
  • People in your Life
  • Persistence in achieving your dream
  • Prayer with the ONE who gave you your dream
